You’ve seen them in various musical ensembles–in jazz clubs, in a marching band field show, or in a symphony orchestra.

Maybe you’ve just seen one person with one on a street corner. It’s one of the more popular non-percussive instruments in the music family and been around since 1846 when Adolphe created it. This sexy, uniquely-shaped, woodwind instrument is known as the Saxophone, and when played correctly, is very soothing to listen to.

As someone who has played the Alto Saxophone for many years, it is indeed a great experience playing the renowned instrument. I stated earlier the Saxophone, alto or not, is a woodwind instrument, which means you need a wooden piece called a reed in order to play it. You wet the reed with you own spit and attach the reed to the Sax’s mouth piece, and from there you can blow into the instrument to generate a sound. In terms of changing pitches, you press a set of given keys based on what a particular note demands. For example if you want to play a middle ‘B’, you simply press the top key of the six basic keys.

There are some notable figures who play, or played the Sax. Bill Clinton, 42nd president of the United States, is a really good musician. His ability to accurately play the Tenor Saxophone in some respect added to his appeal as far as citizens lobbying him to hold the Oval Office is concerned. Also, probably the greatest jazz Saxophonist ever, Charlie Parker played the famed instrument of the alto variety. The creator of “Bee-Bop,” which is a sub-genre of jazz music, Parker was a wizard at wowing his fans during live performances. He is now considered a jazz legend.

Overall, I give the Saxophone an A+ review. It is a great instrument for anyone to learn. It’s not too difficult to play, and you will definitely look cool being able to make music. So if Saxophone is something you want to take on then take lessons and impress your friends and family.

Last week I got my cell phone stolen, so I obviously had to get a new one. Even though my phone wasn’t new or anything, I was still pretty upset. I had spent almost two years with the phone, and I had all of the accessories I needed. I now had to get all new accessories, which I was sure was going to be a pain. I’m not really the type of person that needs the latest phones, so I got a pretty simple one. Because it wasn’t a very popular phone like a Blackberry or iPhone, I wasn’t really sure where I was actually going to be able to find cases, holsters, batteries, and any other other accessories I needed. I knew my cousin was the only person I knew that had that phone at one point. She moved on to an iPhone, but I figured I’d ask her where she got her accessories when she had my phone.

My cousin told me about CellPhoneShop.net, which is where she’s always gotten her cell phone accessories from, at a great price. She got everything she needed for the phone that I had just gotten, and also for the new iPhone she now has. I went on the website to see what it was all about, and I was surprised to find many options for my phone. I was able to get a car charger, holder, and even a skin with a picture of my dog. I’ve never even heard of being able to design a skin with any picture you want, but it’s the perfect skin. My cell phone will definitely stick out now, because I’m pretty sure no one has a skin with a picture of my dog! The prices were as good as my cousin claimed, and I was even able to save even more money by using a CellPhoneShop promo code. I look back and think how much money I wasted on buying cell phone accessories from pricy cell phone stores, and it really bugs me.

CellPhoneShop.net is very easy to navigate, and will only take you seconds to find the accessories you need for your phone. You can either search by phone brand or carrier brand, and you will soon see your phone. Once you click on it, you will see the long list of accessories that are sure to make your phone the way you want it to be. In addition to accessories, there are also some great deals on the actual cell phones. Whether you are in the market for a new phone or a refurbished one, Cell Phone Shop is sure to have one to fit your needs. Of course the phones have great prices as well, so it’s definitely worth taking a look at the choices.

Weather you are looking for a new phone or just looking for accessories for your phone, Cell Phone Shop is where you should visit.

     Shop CellPhoneShop.net Now

Well, the consensus on FreeShipping.com, the members-only online benefits program that is offering its customers huge yearly savings through free shipping solutions and other discounts and deals, is finally in. And—drum roll please—they are overwhelmingly positive. If you were on the fence about getting a membership with one of the fastest growing online networks for bargain-hunters, this quick write-up might be the oomph you needed to head over to FreeShipping.com. Reviews continue to roll in and with each satisfied customer testimonial I’ve read I see yet another factor that makes this program such a winner.

It’s not totally uncommon for us avid online shoppers to research deals or offers that are lauded by some and decried as unfair or dishonest by others. Fortunately, the picture is much clearer with FreeShipping.com. Fraud perpetration is the furthest thing from this company’s goal, and that comes through in the way they do business every day. In fact, the outstanding reputation of the FreeShipping.com complaint resolution process is the solid foundation on which the success of the company rests. Around a perspective of fairness, they’ve built a service that is quickly becoming a powerhouse in online shopping. And it is not because of outlandish promises or “too good to be true” marketing. They create their success by selling a product that lives up to the expectation of it, which is a practical and useful tool that will save active online shoppers money. It is as simple as that. They don’t glamorize their services because they don’t need to. It is in their pragmatism and true usefulness that their strength lays.

They’re obviously aware of this simple truth, too, and so they fill their website with educational information about all the ins-and-outs and every nook and cranny of their services. They believe that once you see for yourself what they can offer, the product will sell itself. And they encourage you to chat with them for more information at the FreeShipping.com phone number, 800-869-5597, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. I’d suggest giving them a call. I believe most savvy shoppers will be impressed—I was.

The NPD Group released a report that consumers take more than a quarter of their pictures and videos using a smart phone. What’s funny is that I would expect it to be much higher than this. Who carries a phone around anymore? I remember how cool Polaroids were – at $10 a cartridge, you could take 10 instant photos. The quality was complete crap, but they were instant! Now, smartphones are used to shoot HD-quality images, and videos. Amazing stuff but I bet if they checked their numbers, the percentage would be much, much higher that what was reported.

San Francisco is the first of many locations in the United States that allow you to insert money into a meter from your cell phone. The program could end up saving participants hundreds of dollars each year, and charges only .45 cents per fill-up.

Mobile phone users who opt into the program will receive text message alerts before their meters are about to expire. The text message gives them the option to remotely put money into their meters before they expire and the drivers are issued a ticket.

Still in its early stages, the program will begin to unfold in some of San Francisco’s busiest neighborhoods. From there, it will likely expand beyond San Fran’s city limits and into a statewide, and eventually a countrywide program. So what does this mean for smart phone and other cellular phone users? Convenience, fewer tickets and smarter street parking are just a few of the advantages that this program would bring locals.

San Francisco’s transit department is looking forward to the change as well. The city often faces the problem of crowded streets and not enough parking. They hope that, when drivers are more aware of their meter limits, more parking spots will open up.

The changes will soon be implemented all over the country, meaning that smart phone users will be given more control in the palm of their hands.

Apple’s newest iPhone, the iPhone 4S was released just days before Steve Jobs, Apple’s CEO, passed away after losing a battle with Cancer. These unfortunate circumstances, on top of Apple’s world-wide notoriety, have produced a serious PR frenzy. Everywhere you turn in the month of October, Apple is there. Whether it’s the bookstores carrying Steve Jobs Bios or the commercials displaying the iPhone 4S’s newest features, Apple is arguably the most talked-about brand this month (as if they weren’t every month).

Before its release, blogs and news networks were buzzing about the reveal of the newest iPhone, often falsely named the iPhone 5. After it made its grand entrance, and the dust has settled slightly, we can step back and analyze if the iPhone 4S is worth the fuss (and the price.)

With a dual-core A5 chip, the new (and wildly discussed) Siri, an improved 8-megapixel camera, and the addition of iCloud, the iPhone 4S is completely stacked. Apple’s added features increased the value of owning an iPhone. Most especially, the revolutionary software Siri works as a personal assistant, checking the weather, scheduling appointments, sending text messages, and answering questions for you.

The scheduled release of the newest iPhone served to make Steve Jobs a legend in death. His genius was revered in life as well, as he revolutionized the way we communicate with one another. The release of the iPhone 4S was the perfect celebration of his life, and his legend will live on in the technological advancements of the future –which were built on the shoulders of Jobs’ solid foundation.

However, it wasn’t the expected iPhone 5. Granted, that’s just a name. Perhaps they want to preserve the numbers by adding letter extensions. Could you imagine an iPhone 12? Probably too many digits – it would get played out. Look at the iPod. They made a smart marketing move, naming them rather than numbering them. IPod shuffle, Nano, Touch. The list goes on.
