Apple releases iPhone 4S
So it’s official, Apple showed the iPhone 4S to the world and it was a very nice upgrade to the iPhone 4 in terms of features and functionality. However, it wasn’t the expected iPhone 5. Granted, that’s just a name. Perhaps they want to preserve the numbers by adding letter extensions. Could you imagine an iPhone 12? Probably too many digits – it would get played out. Look at the iPod. They made a smart marketing move, naming them rather than numbering them. IPod shuffle, Nano, Touch. The list goes on.
Will this new iPhone sell? Certainly. Apple has so many fans who love upgrades. The future is bright!
